Dental Care

Believe it or not, dogs and cats are susceptible to many of the same dental ailments as their human counterparts. Regular professional dental cleanings are important to maintain your pet’s best health. Our office uses safe and modern ultrasonic scaling to clean each tooth thoroughly, both above and below the gum line. This helps break down calculus, prevent periodontal (gum) disease, and leave your pet’s mouth healthy and clean. Polishing treatment creates a smoother, lustrous surface on the tooth that is more resistant to plaque build up. Additionally, fluoride treatments strengthen the enamel and decrease tooth sensitivity.

Digital Dental Radiography

Dental X-rays allow our staff to check for damage beneath the gum line while we are cleaning your pet’s teeth. Like traditional dental radiographs, this is an important tool in preventative care, and helps to diagnose issues before they become bigger problems.
