Congratulations to our Dyson DC24 vacuum winner!
Wendy Johnson of Irmo won a Dyson vacuum cleaner in a contest by Sentinel flavor tabs, a heartworm and flea prevention.

Relay for Life
On May 14th, Dutch Fork Animal Hospital participated in the "Relay for Life". We raised a lot of money for the American Cancer Society and Dr. Schumpert won the "Womanless Beauty Pageant"! See the pictures in our photo gallery under events.
Senior and Junior Wellness Panels
We, at Dutch Fork Animal Hospital, are committed to providing the best possible care for your pet. That is why we have developed multiple wellness bloodwork plans for your pet, at drastically reduced prices. These tests could provide valuable information on underlying problems with your pet that may not be visibly seen. Please ask us about them when you bring your pet in for his or her annual exam!

Did you know that only 4% of lost cats and 14% of lost dogs in the United States are reunited with their owners. In England, where microchipping is mandatory, 51% of pets are reunited with their owners. Dr. Elizabeth Niciu
Dutch Fork Animal Hospital is very excited to welcome Dr. Elizabeth Niciu to our practice starting November 16th, 2009. Originally from East Setauket, NY, Dr. Niciu earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia in 2000. She comes to us from Loganville, GA where she has been practicing at a small animal clinic for the past 9.5 years.

Canine Influenza Vaccine
We now carry the canine influenza vaccine. It is recommended for all patients that receive the kennel cough vaccine and will be required for all patients staying with us in boarding or hospitalized. Please see our articles section for more information regarding canine influenza H3N8.
